About Us
Kulan Foundation – local community initiative in Shepherds Bush, London.
‘KULAN’ stands for ‘connecting’ – Established in 2016, we have focused on providing support for young people and adults and fostering better social mobility and integration into the community to improve their quality of life. We are based in Goldhawk Road Shepherds Bush, London borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.
Our mission is to address, and support local community needs, combat social and economic injustice, alleviate poverty and empower the most disadvantaged in our community..
Kulan Foundation does this by running educational training sessions, and upskilling classes to assist people from different ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds to live and work together in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding in their wider community. We aim to achieve our objectives by engaging with the community through outreach and advice surgery services, assisting their needs, provide education and skills training classes and building strong community networks based on trust and respect for local diversity, as well as cultivating a sense of belonging and confidence among residents in the local community.
Our services are open to all people regardless of ethnicity, gender, religion or sexual orientation.
